Solid construction. Reasonably quiet. Cons - Trays melted and deformed over time. After 20 batches, bottom tray melted and electronics stopped working. Noisy. Trays need to be rotated to dry food evenly.

If I was buying one of these dehydrators, I would go with the L'equip 6-Tray Model 528 for 119.95. It is the least expensive, and it has just as many watts and trays as the more expensive models. Although this model only recieved an overall star rating of 3, there were only two reviews. One was a five-star, and the other was a one-star. However, the reviewer that left a one-star was comment was the same reviewer that left a similarly worded comment on the L'Equip 306200 550-Watt 6-Tray Food Dehydrator.

However, if you really love yogurt too, you might want to consider the L Equip FilterPro Food Dehydrator. It has an accessory yogurt maker, a 24-hour automatic shut off timer, and a patent-pending air filtration system. Although, it is $16 more than the product above, if you like yogurt and fruit leather, the extra accessories might be worth spending a little bit more. Out of five reviews, two of the machines malfunctioned, but it doesn't seem like they had any problems getting a replacement machine.
